As a both a pale and sensitive skin girly, I have tried out hundreds of sunscreens for my face. When it comes to body sunscreens, any old brand works, but my face is a whole other story. Sunscreen has really been my fountain of youth and telling people to put on their sunscreen is my love language. Enjoy the breakdown of my favorite sunscreens!
Colorscience
When it comes to day to day, running errands, no make up, make up look, Colorscience has become my holy grail. They offer a large variety mineral sunscreen make up. You could do a whole face of sunscreen make up from foundation to blush to lips, to eyeshadow. If you like to go to the pool/lake/beach in a full beat, I highly suggest you check out this brand.
Here are my favorites:

Everyday - No-Show Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50

Flexible Shade Foundation - Total Protection Face Shield Flex SPF 50

Glow Screen - Total Protection Face Shield Glow SPF 50
Dont wear this in the ocean, the salt water plus mica will react!

Total 3-in-1 Concealer - Total 3-in-1 Therapy

Lipshine - Sunforgettable Lip Shine SPF 35
SuperGoop
You might be surprised to see this second on my list. I used to be a Supergoop stan until I found Colorscience. I enjoy their products, but have had issues with pilling and longevity for daily wear. Where Supergoop is number 1, is their baby sunscreen. Yes, I use baby sunscreen on my face and neck. I swear its better SPF coverage and wear than "adult" sunscreen. If you have a kiddo, I suggest checking out this brand as well. Their formula is pediatric tested, synthetic fragrance-free and silicone-free. Also making it great for adults with sensitive skin. I use these products when its going to be a longggg day in the sun such as boat days, beach days, pool days, etc.
Here are my favorite:

HEB
You might be saying, huh? For your face?! Oh yes, HEB has stepped up their game in the sunscreen department. They have a wide range of fun fragrance sunscreens as well as some with glitter. Which I find fun, but not practical. HOWEVER, my holy grail from them is their Hydrate Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid & Collagen. I use this as a setting spray, if you will, after my ColorScience or Supergoop. Its also great for older kids to get them to put sunscreen on their face. The spray is cool, comes out in a fine mist and doenst have that stinky sunscreen smell. If youre in Texas, highly suggest you check this out at your local HEB!

For the Guys....
Not sure about your partner, but getting my husband to wear sunscreen was difficult until we found what worked for him. Ive gotten him to use a daily moisturizer/SPF combo as well as additional coverage for when we are in the sun for long periods of time. He is also a fan of the HEB Hydrate for reapplication.
Here are his favorites!

CeraVE AM Facial Moistruizing Lotion with SPF 30

e.l.f SKIN Suntouchable Invisible SPF 35
Don't forget your Lips!
If you have ever had sunburned lips, Im preaching to the choir here, but if you havent, condisder yourself lucky and add in an SPF lippy from now on! Colorscience has fun lip glosses for a pop of color and glam, but if you just want protection, my personal favorite recently has been Aquaphor's SPF lip balm.

Aquaphor Lip Protectant and Sunscreen Ointment - SPF 30
Bonus!!! After Sun Care
Burned? It happens, but make sure you take care of your skin afterward. We all know about the good old goopy Aloe Vera (pro tip, put it in the fridge to get cold. It will help with the heat of the burn), however, I like a good Aloe Vera/Moisturizer combo. Why? Because while the Aloe Vera will help calm the inflammation, its not doing anything to bring back in moisture. This has been my favorite for YEARS.
